Biography


Dubravka Arsić, soprano

Was born in Zrenjanin, Yugoslavia, lives in Belgrade, Serbia.

Graduated at the Faculty of  Music Art in Belgrade in 2000th, and then earned the Masters Degree at the same university in 2009th.

Working with Kammersängerin Olivera Miljakovic in Vienna from the 2011th .

At the opera stage of the Belgrade National Theatre debuted in 2003. in the role of Musette in La Boheme by G. Puccini.

Since then  regularly performed many leading roles on that stage:
Rosina (Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia),
Lauretta (Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi),
Donna Anna (Mozart’s Don Giovanni)
and Nedda (Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci)

Also perfomed leading role in contemporary serbian opera Mandragola, writen by Ivan Jevtic.

In addition to her career on the opera stage,  is also very engaged in a dramatic theater.
In Teather and Opera ‘Madlenianum’, in the production of  musical play Les Miserables regularly appears as Cosette.

Also performed at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre in the play Leons and Lena, at the ‘BELEF’ festival in the hip-hop opera The Land of Happiness and Mariagge and divorce of  Figaro in Belgrade National Theatre.

Critics have praised very highly stage presence comparing to an accomplished drama-actor.
